Ultrasun's Sports Gel SPF50 provides full solar spectrum protection from the sun's harmful UVA and UVB rays. With Dry Touch technology, this water and sweat resistant product is perfect for those wanting a fast absorbing, non-greasy gel, or those who lead an active lifestyle. The transparent, liquid gel contains a powerful antioxidant complex which helps combat sun induced skin ageing.
Tried and tested by elite athletes. Suitable for all skin types.
Flammable - contains alcohol.
To use: Apply to clean dry skin, ideally indoors, 15 minutes before sun exposure. Avoid contact with eyes and clothes.
Does not contain:
- Perfume: the combination of perfume ingredients and UV rays can lead to unwanted pigmentation disorders/stain formation.
-Mineral oils: mineral oils together with emulsifying agents and UVA rays can lead to sun allergies in the form of Mallorca acne.
-Emulsifiers: emulsifying agents together with mineral oils and UVA rays can lead to sun allergies in the form of Mallorca acne.
-Silicones: the long-term use of silicone in cosmetics is controversial.
-PEG/PPG: Makes the skin permeable, allowing pollutants to enter the skin.
-Aluminium compounds: The use of aluminium in cosmetics has been debated.
-Octocrylene: Relatively high rates of skin allergy (Krause 2012, Bryden 2006, Hayden 2005)
-Preservatives: Ultrasun uses absolutely no preservatives (no parabens, no phenoxyethanol, no methylisothiazolinone). This is due to its very stable formulation and the top quality airless packaging. The "airless" dispensers also enable you to use 100% of the product inside and ensure that the product has a long shelf life of 24 months after first being opened so that the products can be used over two seasons!
